RIP: Tipperary deaths and funeral details, February 20

Margaret (Peg) Cormack

Margaret (Peg) Cormack, Barna, Templetuohy and formerly of Ballyerk, Moyne Thurles, Co. Tipperary, 19th of February 2026, in her ninety-fifth year.

Peacefully, following a short illness, in the tender care of the medical and nursing staff, and hospice team at Tullamore General Hospital.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her primary carers, her nephew John Butler and his wife Carmel, their daughters Louise and Aileen, Peg’s brother-in-law, Larry Maher, Kilduff, Killea, her devoted nephews and nieces and their spouses, the Butler family, Barna, Templetuohy - Helen (Meehan) , Seamus, Willie, Patricia (Martin), John, Michael and Marie (Ffrench); the Maher family Kilduff, Killea – Mairead (Vaughan), Tim, Sharon and Liam; grandnieces and grandnephews.

 

Reposing at Grey’s Funeral Home, Templermore (e41 TR83) on Friday, February 20th, 2026, from 5 pm to 7pm.

Removal to the church of the Sacred Heart, Templetuohy at 11am on Saturday February 21st for Requiem Mass at 11.30am.

Interment afterwards in Moyne, Old Cemetery.

Ena Maher
(née O'Brien)

The death has occurred of Ena Maher, née O'Brien, Parkstown House, Horse and Jockey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Mitchelstown, Co. Cork. Beloved wife of the late Joe and cherished mother of Mary, Tina, Ken and Brian. Ena will be sadly missed by her sons and daughters, grandchildren Joe, Grace, Karen, Mark, Tom, Stephen, Niall and Daria, sons-in-law Kevin and Carl, daughters-in-law Paula and Mary, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

 

May She Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles (E41 CP59) on Friday 20th February from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at St. Peter's Church, Moycarkey, Thurles (E41 FY29) on Saturday 21st February at 11am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in St. Peter's Cemetery, Moycarkey.

 

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Ewa, Ana and the staff of Fern Dean Nursing Home, Stepaside, Co. Dublin, for taking such good care of their beloved Ena.
