(née O'Dwyer)

Peggy Bourke (nee O’Dwyer) (Bourkes Chainsaw Centre, Maudemount, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Synone, Boherlahan, Co. Tipperary) February 21st 2026, died peacefully at the Woodlands Nursing Home Dundrum, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Predeceased by her beloved husband Jerry, daughter Esther, parents Mary and John, sister Nora and brother John Joe.

 

Dearly loved mother of Jeremiah, Brigid Scally, John Paul and Noreen Collins.

 

Sadly missed by her loving sons-in-law Tony and Jason, daughter-in-law Susan, her adored grandchildren Robbie, Jerry, Jamie, Charlie, Lauren and baby Jason, brothers Willie, Rodgie, Tom and Paddy, sisters Nancy, Mary, Josie, Kathleen and Pauline, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Whites Funeral Home Cappawhite (E34 WR83) on Monday evening (23rd February) from 5 pm until 7 pm. Arriving in St. Brigid’s Church Annacarty Tuesday morning for Requiem Mass at 11 am followed by burial in Hollyford cemetery.

Peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Deirdre, beloved daughter of the late Denis Kennedy. Deeply regretted by her loving mother Joanie, family Siobhán, Máire, Donnchadh, Gráinne, Seán, Mick, Caroline, Marcella, Jack, Mike, Darragh, Gary and Grace, uncles, aunts, relatives, neighbours and friends.

PJ Kennedy, Treacy Meadows Newbridge and formerly of Thurles Co. Tipperary. 21st of February 2026 Peacefully at home with his loving family by his side. Sadly Missed by his loving wife Angela, Sons, Conor, Gavin and Ken. Daughters in law Paula & Caroline. Grandchildren David, Conor, Anna, Matthew, Katie, Padraic, and Hugh. Brothers Phil and Denis. Reposing at Whelan's Funeral Home, Bansha Road, Tipperary on Tuesday evening February 24th 2026 from 5:30pm to 7pm.

Mass for Paddy will take place in St. Michael's Church, Tipperary on Wednesday February 25th 2026 at 12 noon and burial afterwards in St. Michael's Cemetery Tipperary Town.

Matt Ryan

The death has taken place of Matt Ryan, Gouldshill, Cork Road, Mallow and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary, who passed away peacefully on February 20th 2026 at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork.

 

Beloved husband of the late Rita (née Riordan), adored father to Sharon and Paul and brother of the late Freddie, Michael, Nonie, Kitty and Bridie.

 

Sadly missed by his loving daughter, son, Paul's partner Lorraine, devoted grandfather of Larissa and Davina, precious great-grandfather of Eli and Louie, brother Timmy (London), sister-in-law Elaine, nieces, nephews, Larissa's husband Andrew, extended family, neighbours and friends.

(née Burke)

The death has occurred of Mary Stoneman (nee Burke), St Patrick’s Terrace and formerly Marlfield, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

 

Mary passed away peacefully at St James’ Hospital, Dublin on Thursday evening surrounded by her loving family. She is pre-deceased by her parents William and Johanna Burke, sister Eileen and her brother Noel. Beloved mother of Matthew and Sinéad she will be sadly missed by her son, daughter, grandchildren, brothers David, Michael, William, Richie and John, sisters Ena, Annmarie and Bernie, son-in-law Barry, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

William (Bill) Sullivan, Lisheenanoul, Ardfinnan and late of Baunfaun, Kilmanahan, Clonmel. Died peacefully on Saturday 21st February 2026, in the loving care of the staff of Melview Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his parents Kitty and Larry, brothers Pat and Timmy, sister Kathleen and niece Deirdre.

Her remains will repose at her late residence 5 Fairgreen Park Keady from this afternoon (Sunday) until removal on Tuesday to arrive at St Patrick’s Church Keady for 11am Requiem Mass.Burial afterwards in the church cemetery.
