The death has occurred of Jean Ahearne nee Padden (Monaree, Nenagh, Co Tipperary) on the 10th of March 2026 peacefully in the loving care of Milford Care Centre.
Predeceased by her brothers Jim and Luke.
Deeply regretted by her loving husband Maurice, daughter Monica, son Maurice Jnr, sister Frances, sister in law Agnes, son in law Paraic, grandchildren Conor, Charlie and Evie, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in Keller's Funeral home, Nenagh (E45XO94) on Thursday evening 12th of March from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral arriving to St Mary's Church of the Rosary (E45YH29) on Friday morning 13th of March at 10:45am for funeral mass at 11am. Followed by burial in Lisboney Cemetery.


The family would like to thank the staff of Nenagh hospital who gave great care to their former colleague.

Family flowers only donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.

Fr. Bernard Allon, Ruah, Kyle, The Commons, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Hexham and Newcastle Diocese, U.K.

 

Pre-deceased by his parents George and Ellen, and his brothers and sisters.

 

Peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, Kilkenny, on Tuesday, 10th March 2026.

 

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, his sister Rita, his brother-in-law Barry, his nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great grandnieces, great- grandnephews, all the members of L’Arche Community, Kilkenny, his many friends in Ireland and abroad, relatives and neighbours.

 

Requiescat in Pace.

 

Reposing in Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Thursday, 12th March from 4pm.

 

Funeral Prayers at 6pm followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan.

 

Requiem Mass on Friday, 13th March at 11am.

 

Burial will follow afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.

Liam Boland

Liam Boland, Ardnacassa, Dublin Road, Longford and formerly of Clonmel, Co.Tipperary, passed away peacefully on 9th March 2026. Pre-deceased by his parents William and Rita, his beloved wife Mary, son Liam, sisters Marjorie and Valerie, brother Michael, brother-in-law Willie and by his son-in-law Peter.

 

Liam will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughters Jean, Linda, Siobhán, Orla, Niamh and Eiméar, sons Stephen and Marcus, brothers Sean and Jim, daughters-in-law Kerry and Roisín, sons-in-law Mick, Kevin, Kieran and Mark, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home (Ardnacassa, Dublin Road – N39 X2W4) on Friday 13th March from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday 14th March in St.Mel’s Cathedral at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery.

Marie O’Neill (née Hennebry) (Rathgar, Dublin and late of Carrick on Suir, Co. Tipperary) 9th March 2026. Peacefully, with great strength and dignity following a long illness surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital.

 

Beloved wife of Ken, loving and devoted mother to Edmund, treasured grandmother to Kate and Elizabeth and dear mother-in-law of Alice. Deeply loved and sadly missed by her family, brothers and sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday evening (March 11th) from 4.30pm until 7pm.

Removal on Thursday morning to St. Joseph’s Church, Terenure for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross. Family flowers only please.
