Larry Buckley

Larry Buckley, Gortataggart, Thurles. March 15th, 2026 unexpectedly. Predeceased by his parents Larry and Peggy.

 

Larry will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Susan and Angel, their partners T.J. and Mark, grandchildren Shannon and Patrick, his brother Oliver and partner Julie. All his family and friends and beloved dog Jessie.

 

REST IN PEACE

 

Reposing on this Friday evening in his daughter Angel's home, 51 Hawthorn Drive, Thurles (E41 K529) from 5pm to 7pm.

Interment on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Patrick's cemetery.

Rody Carroll

Rody Carroll, Killeen, Riverstown, Birr, Co. Offaly, passed away on March 17th, 2026, in his 90th year, in the loving care of The Clonmacnoise Suite, Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore and previously in the wonderful Birr Community Nursing Unit.

Former employee of Bord na Móna.

Predeceased by his parents Peter and Catherine and brothers Patsy and Jack.

 

Loving husband of Kathleen, father of Shirley, Peter, Janet and Robert and adored grandfather of his eight grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his sister Mol, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

May he Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at Boyd's Funeral Home, Birr (R42YF75) on Thursday evening from 5pm - 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am. in St. Brendan's Church, Birr, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.

Eoin Keating

The death has occurred of Eoin Keating, Church Road, Elm Park, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

 

Eoin passed away unexpectedly on Sunday. He is pre-deceased by his grandmother Eileen Freaney and grandfather Peter Keating. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken parents Kevin and Gina, brother Kenneth, sisters Laura, Rachel and Kelly, grandmother Peggy Keating, grandad Martin Freaney, aunts, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Thursday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Friday to St Oliver’s Church. Funeral Mass on arrival at 11.30am which may be viewed at Funeral Mass - Eoin Keating (RIP) . Burial will take place afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery.

Bernadette (Bernie) Kelly
(née Cardiff)

Bernadette (Bernie) Kelly (née Cardiff), Aisling, Tyrone, Kilcolgan. 17th March 2026, formerly of Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

 

Predeceased by her husband Michael and her infant children Michael and Berry, her parents Norah and George, her brothers John, George, and Malachy.

 

Bernie passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. She will be deeply missed by her daughters Siobhan and Orla, her sons Michéal, Diarmuid, and Padraig, sons-in-law Sean and Gerry, daughters-in-law Mary, Theresa, and Denise.

 

Bernie was a proud grandmother to Sinead, Aoife, Michael, Linda, Liam, Megan, Sean, Colin, Hugh, Ciara, Eoin, Emer, Paul, Beth and their respective partners.

 

Bernie will also be deeply mourned by her sister Peggy, her brother-in-law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, and a large circle of friends, especially her Cairde Group Clarenbridge.

 

If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again.

 

Reposing at Suaimhneas on the grounds of the Church of the Annunciation Clarinbridge (H91HW58) this Wednesday 18th March from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday 19th March at 2pm in St. Colman's Church Ballinderreen (H91N611). Burial afterwards in Drumacoo Cemetery. Maura Mathews
(née Dalaney)

Maura Mathews (née Delaney), Sandfield Gardens, Blackrock, Co. Louth and formerly of Roscrea, Co Tipperary, passed away peacefully on 17th March 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Louth County Hospital, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Beloved wife of John, cherished mother of Shane. Sister of Michael, Breda and Pauline. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her heartbroken husband, son, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth and gentle presence.

Removal on Thursday morning at 10.50am from the Funeral Home to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church, A91 WY98 arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Fursey’s cemetery Haggardstown, via Sandy Lane, Blackrock.

(née Feehan)

Aged 90yrs, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and caring staff at Limerick University Hospital.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Rody and brothers Eamon, Pat and Michael.

Sadly missed by her sons Donal, Denis, Brendan, Conor and Rory, her daughters Marguerite and Brianne, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, good neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Tierney's Funeral Home, Roscrea on Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from her residence on Friday afternoon at 2.30pm(travelling via the mall) arriving in St.Cronan's Church, Roscrea for Funeral Mass at 3pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining old cemetery.
