Pad passed away peacefully at his home in his 95th year in the care of his loving family.

Beloved husband of Eileen (nee O’Donoghue), dear father of Helen (Hannon), John, Catherine (Brackett), Patricia (Devine) and P.J.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, family, sons-in-law Martin, Anthony and Tom, daughter-in-law Elaine, his 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

 

Rest in peace.

 

 

Pad will repose at the home of his daughter Catherine (P61 AE67). Visitation on Thursday from 3.00.pm. until 7.00.pm.

Reception into the Church of the Immaculate Conception Araglen Friday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Larry Buckley, Gortataggart, Thurles. March 15th, 2026 unexpectedly. Predeceased by his parents Larry and Peggy.

 

Larry will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Susan and Angel, their partners T.J. and Mark, grandchildren Shannon and Patrick, his brother Oliver and partner Julie. All his family and friends and beloved dog Jessie.

Reposing on this Friday evening in his daughter Angel's home, 51 Hawthorn Drive, Thurles (E41 K529) from 5pm to 7pm.

Interment on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Patrick's cemetery.

Son of the late Peter & Mary (née O'Malley). Predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen (née Minogue), brother John-Joe (Askelane) and sister Mary Hartnett (Chicago). James will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Thursday from 6:30pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 8:00pm, followed by removal, walking to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11:00am followed by interment in Templeree Cemetery, Ballinroe, Templemore, Co. Tipperary arriving at 4:40pm (approx.).

The death has occurred of Sheila Hallinan (nee Kelly), Newcastle, Clonmel, formerly St Patrick’s Street, Kilkenny, who passed away peacefully, after a long illness, in the tender care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel.

 

Predeceased by her parents Dick and Bridie and her infant daughter Laura. Deeply regretted by her beloved husband Michael (Mikey), devoted mother to Frank, Emmet, Johnny, Claire O'Brien, Katie and Ray and their spouses and partners, Karen, Ailish, Jacqui, Martin and Gearoid, cherished grandchildren Emily, Mikey, Sile-Mae, Peadar, Fergus, Billy, Mikey & Killian. Sadly missed by her sisters (Patricia Kelly, Brigid Dooley, Margaret Butler, Kathleen Foley and Sr. Mary Leo) and her brother Edward, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and many neighbours and friends.

Removal to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Newcastle, arriving at 11 o’clock for Requiem Mass on Saturday 21st March, followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. Peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital with her daughter Geraldine at her side. Predeceased by her husband Michael (Mick). Katherine will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Geraldine, sons Robert, Michael, Declan and Trevor, sister Margaret, brothers Marty, Noel and Tommy, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews relatives and her many friends.

Removal at 6.45 o'clock to St Mary's church Gambonsfield. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon after which Katherine will be laid to rest in the old cemetery Kilsheelan. Beloved husband of Eileen and loving father of Deirdre and Brendan Jnr. Adored grandfather of Calum, Sonny and Willow.
