James Farragher (Askelane, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo formerly Castleleiny, Templemore, Co. Tipperary) March 17th 2026 : Peacefully in the care of the staff at Mayo University Hospital. Son of the late Peter & Mary (née O'Malley). Predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen (née Minogue), brother John-Joe (Askelane) and sister Mary Hartnett (Chicago). Sadly missed and remembered with love by his nieces & nephew Mary-Julia, Nora, and John-Peter (Hartnett) sisters-in-law Teresa Cleary and Sheila Whelan, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours the Sammin family, extended Farragher & Minogue families and a large circle of friends.

James will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Thursday from 6:30pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 8:00pm, followed by removal, walking to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11:00am followed by interment in Templeree Cemetery, Ballinroe, Templemore, Co. Tipperary arriving at 4:40pm (approx.).

Sheila Hallinan
(née Kelly)

The death has occurred of Sheila Hallinan (nee Kelly), Newcastle, Clonmel, formerly St Patrick’s Street, Kilkenny, who passed away peacefully, after a long illness, in the tender care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel.

Predeceased by her parents Dick and Bridie and her infant daughter Laura. Deeply regretted by her beloved husband Michael (Mikey), devoted mother to Frank, Emmet, Johnny, Claire O'Brien, Katie and Ray and their spouses and partners, Karen, Ailish, Jacqui, Martin and Gearoid, cherished grandchildren Emily, Mikey, Sile-Mae, Peadar, Fergus, Billy, Mikey & Killian. Sadly missed by her sisters (Patricia Kelly, Brigid Dooley, Margaret Butler, Kathleen Foley and Sr. Mary Leo) and her brother Edward, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and many neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Condon’s Funeral Palour, Clonmel, on Friday 20th March from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Newcastle, arriving at 11 o’clock for Requiem Mass on Saturday 21st March, followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. The Death has occurred of Maura Healy (nee Curran) late of Chapel St, Carrick-on-Suir, Maura passed away peacefully in her 100th year on the 17th March 2026 surrounded by her family. pre-deceased by her husband Billy, brothers & sisters and son in-law Bobby. Maura will be sadly missed by her daughters Margaret and Breda, her adored grandchildren, Conor, Deirdre, Cian, Odharnaith, Ciara, Evin & their partners, great grandchildren, son in-law, Liam, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

We sadly announce the passing of Katherine Mullins (nee Harvey), Poulakerry, Kilsheelan, Clonmel, Co Tipperary, March16th 2026. Peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital with her daughter Geraldine at her side. Predeceased by her husband Michael (Mick). Katherine will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Geraldine, sons Robert, Michael, Declan and Trevor, sister Margaret, brothers Marty, Noel and Tommy, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews relatives and her many friends.

Reposing at Fennessy's Funeral Home, Kickham Street, Clonmel (E91 VH64) this Thursday evening from 5 o'clock to 6.30 o'clock with evening prayers at 4.45 o'clock. Removal at 6.45 o'clock to St Mary's church Gambonsfield. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon after which Katherine will be laid to rest in the old cemetery Kilsheelan.
