Marion Dooley (née Doheny) Glenall, Borris-in-Ossory, Co. Laois, formerly Mountain View, Borris-in-Ossory and Knock, Roscrea,

 

Marion passed away March 24th 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the care of the staff of Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore.

 

Predeceased by her mother Anne and father Joe.

 

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving husband Noel, sons Noel, Derek and Jack, daughter Rhoda (Brogan), daughters-in-law Ashling and Lisa, son-in-law John, grandchildren Jamie, Odhran, Óisin, Saoirse, Fiachra and Cora, brother Joe, sisters Kay and Anne, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home 30 Glenall, Borris-in-Ossory, (Eircode R32WXY4) this Wednesday (March 25th) from 3pm concluding with Rosary at 8pm.

Removal from her home this Thursday morning (March 26th) to St. Canice's Church, Borris-in-Ossory (Eircode R32P2YK) for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in Derrinsallagh Cemetery, Borris-in-Ossory.

Thomas (Tom) Lloyd

Thomas (Tom) Lloyd, Moyne and late of Ballyerk, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, 24th of March 2026 in his 93rd Year. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Hannah, brothers in law Cyril Forde, Seam O’Donoghue and Tom Cooney.

 

Deeply regretted by his loving partner Margaret, brothers Seán, Michael and Larry, sisters Nancy, Maura, Peggy, Joan, Carmel and Bridget, nieces, nephews, brothers in law, sisters in law, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home, Templemore (E41TR83) this Thursday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. Requiem Mass on Friday in St. Mary’s Church, Moyne at 11.30 am. Interment in Templetuohy Cemetery afterwards. Messages of condolence may be left at www.ejgrey.com

John Maher, 46 Collins Park, Thurles, March 24th in the wonderful care of the Community Hospital of the Assumption,Thurles. Predeceaded by his parents Michael and Alice, his brother Paddy and sister Dina.

 

Will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Margaret and his loving family, daughters Caroline,Sharon, Majella, Geraldine and Lorraine, Sons Michael and John Paul, his adored grandchildren Jason, Shane, Colm, Rachel, Sophie, Adam, Dean and Lauren, Sons-in-law Patrick,Noel, Seán and Lilian, Daughter-in-law Amy, his sisters Phyllis and Mary, nieces, nephews extended family and his former colleagues in Thurles U.D.C., neighbours and friends.

Reposing this Thursday evening from 5 pm to 7pm, in Kennedy's Funeral Home,Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles, to arrive in the Church of St. Joseph and St. Brigid, Bohernanave at 8.45pm, Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11 am followed by private cremation.

(née Carroll)

Angela McDonnell, (nee Carroll), Carrigatoher, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Coolbawn, Nenagh, died unexpectedly but peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, on 19th March 2026.

 

Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, her parents Paddy and Nell, brother Raymond and her baby sister Patricia Ann.

 

Loving mother of James and Kevin.

 

Angela will be sadly missed by her loving family, her siblings Eileen (Joyce), Pat, Mike, Oliver, Dermot and Ann, her adored grandchildren Liam and Eve, daughter-in-law Majella, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) O’Connor, Mullinarinka, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

 

Pat passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He is pre-deceased by his wife Joan and brothers Eamon, Jack and Tommy. Beloved father of Paul, Kevin, Sharon, Marie and Jean, he will be sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Eoin, Darragh, Aaron, Claire, Eimear, Sarah, Rian, Kate and Niamh, brothers Jim, Mikey and Philly, sister Margaret (Furnell), son-in-law Eric, daughters-in-law Michele and Brenda, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Moyle Rovers Monroe Sports Complex, Clonmel (E91 PN29) on Friday afternoon from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Saturday to St John the Baptist Church, Powerstown. Predeceased by her parents Mick and Tess. Reposing at his residence, 37 Kennedy Park, Roscrea (E53 Y034) on Thursday evening from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Removal from his residence on Friday morning at 11.30am arriving in St. Cronan's Church, Roscrea for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining new cemetery.
