Tipperary hurlers will travel to Portlaoise to face Laois in All-Ireland championship

Tipperary will resume their All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship campaign next Saturday afternoon, when they play Laois in the preliminary quarter-final.

The match will be played at Laois Hire O'Moore Park, Portlaoise, at 1.45pm. The referee is Chris Mooney, Dublin.

The tie will be shown live on the GAA + channel.

Laois were defeated by Kildare in last Sunday's Joe McDonagh Cup final.

The winners will be in action again the following weekend when they face Galway in the All-Ireland quarter-final.

Next Saturday's game is part of a double header at the Portlaoise venue, and will be followed at 4.15 by the meeting of Roscommon and Cork in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
