Hurling for Cancer Research will be on free to air broadcast on TG4 when it takes place at Netwatch Cullen Park, this Monday August 18 in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
Several Tipperary hurlers are going to be face to face with Cork's biggest stars as the players meet on the field for the first time since the All-Ireland Final as part of the Hurling for Cancer Research 2025 match.
Star-studded team sheets have been unveiled for the popular game which draws huge crowds every year.

Tipperary hurling stars Jake Morris, Darragh McCarthy and Noel McGrath will be taking part following the Premier County's victory over Cork in the All-Ireland Final last month and they will on the same team as Cork's Patrick Horgan and the Downey brothers, probably not a bad idea.

Proudly supported by Centra, Jim Bolger and Davy Russell have announced a glittering line-up of players for the 14th renewal of Hurling for Cancer Research in Netwatch Cullen Park in Carlow this Monday, August 18. Throw-in is at 7:30pm.
An array of stars from the world of racing, GAA and top sports personalities will lace-up their boots for the annual hurling extravaganza between the two teams. Limerick, Wexford and Kilkenny legends John Kiely and Liam Griffin assisted by Larry O’Gorman are over Jim Bolger’s Stars with Brian Cody and All-Ireland winner Liam Cahill acting as Bainisteoirí for Davy Russel’s Best.

Among the all-star list of those stepping up to act as selectors, commentators, side-line officials, umpires and maor uisce are Paudie Clifford, Rachael Blackmore, Marty Morrissey Anthony Daly, Willie Mullins, Bernard Dunne, Paul Townend, Ursula Jacob, David Gough, Niall Quinn, Barry Geraghty, Danny Mullins, Michael Duignan, Paul Nolan, Willie McCreery, Jarlath Regan, Cyril Farrell, Jimmy Barry Murphy, Dickie Murphy, Colm O’Rourke, Kevin Manning and Colin Keane.
Hurling for Cancer Research will be broadcast free-to-air on TG4 to help boost donations to the Irish Cancer Society’s vital research projects. Their coverage starts at 7:15pm.
To date, Hurling for Cancer Research has raised an incredible €1.66m for cancer research.
