With the Tipperary senior hurlers enjoying a well-deserved holiday in Cape Town at present, their preparations for the 2026 season will soon begin in earnest.

Beaten finalists in last season’s Allianz League Division 1 final, Tipperary will get the league campaign underway on Saturday evening, January 24, when they entertain Galway at FBD Semple Stadium.

According to the provisional fixtures released recently, they will play their first away game against Offaly in Tullamore on Sunday, February 1.

Round 3 will bring them to SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh to face Cork on the following Saturday, February 7.

They will have a break of a fortnight before hosting Limerick in Thurles on either February 21 or 22. They have a bye in round 5.

Their Round 6 game on March 7 or 8 will be away to Waterford.

The league phase of the competition will end on Saturday, March 21, against Kilkenny at FBD Semple Stadium.

The league final will be played on either April 4 or 5.
