Aherlow are Tipperary intermediate hurling champions

Aherlow were crowned Tipperary county intermediate hurling champions at the weekend with victory over Gortnahoe-Glengoole in the final.

Aherlow were crowned Tipperary county intermediate hurling champions at the weekend with victory over Gortnahoe-Glengoole in the final.

In other county games at the weekend, Mullinahone and Nenagh qualified for the county minor ‘A’ hurling final with victories over Loughmore-Castleiney and Clonoulty-Rossmore respectively; Kildangan won the county junior ‘A’ football title with victory over Ballylooby-Castlegrace; Emly and Rockwell Rovers qualified for the county junior ‘A’ semi-finals with quarter-final wins over Knockshegowna and Moneygall; while Drom-Inch beat Skeheenarinky in the minor ‘B’ hurling semi-final replay.
