Jason Forde injury suffered against Cork not as serious as first feared

The injury which forced Jason Forde's withdrawal in the 16th minute of Saturday evening's Munster Hurling Championship clash between Tipperary and Cork is not expected to sideline the Silvermines for the Premier's remaining two round robin games.

Should an investigation into the injury confirm that the worst has not occurred, it is hoped he may be available for the third round Munster Hurling Championship game against Limerick on May 21st in FBD Semple Stadium.
