Hearing for man living in log cabin pushed to later date

The case of Sean Meehan, the Tipperary man living in a log cabin, has been adjourned to September 5, 2024. 

Sean Meehan's case was due to be heard on Thursday morning in Cashel District Court, however his solicitor told the court he has made a retention application with An Bord Pleanála, and asked that the court adjourn his case. 

The court granted the request for an adjournment. 

Sean Meehan, of Woodinstown, Cahir, had been instructed to tear down his cabin at court sitting in December 2023 or face prosecution.
