Tipperary Councillor welcomes funding for Ballingarry project

Local Fianna Fáil General Election candidate Cllr Imelda Goldsboro has welcomed €50,000 for a Ballingarry project under the 2024 CLÁR programme.

The investment will support the development of sports and outdoor facilities such as playgrounds, astro-turf pitches, running tracks and spectator stands.

Community centres and local halls will also be upgraded and given a new lease of life as part of the initiative.

Welcoming the funding, Cllr Goldsboro said: “I’m delighted Ballingarry Community Field is set to benefit from significant investment of €50,000 under this year’s CLÁR programme."
