New priest Fr. Killian Heney is recently ordained in Tipperary Town

A new priest has joined Tipperary this past weekend.

Fr Killian Heney, from the Parish of Knockavilla/Donaskeigh, who was ordained as a RC Priest by Archbishop Kieran O'Reilly on Sunday December 8th at St. Michael's Church in Tipperary Town.

It was a very special day for Fr Killian and his family and indeed for the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly.

On Monday 9th December, Fr Killian celebrates his first Mass in the Church of the Assumption Knockavilla at 3pm. An open invitation is extended to all, and everyone is welcome back to Dundrum Community Hall for refreshments afterwards.
