The excitement generated county wide by the recent Friends of Tipperary Football fundraiser was huge and in the end the heifer and her new born calf have a good home in a nearby county.
Conor O'Dea from near Errigal was the lucky winner of the much anticipated draw before Christmas and he got a special delivery this new year as the farmer that donated the heifer - Con Quinn of Annacarty - delivered the prize and the certificates for the much sought after Angus.
The Friends of Tipperary Football fundrasier brought in much needed funds to ensure the underage development of Tipperary football is looked after well.
