Local Tipperary athletics club enjoys great success at Masters event

On Sunday, January 19, the Masters cross country took place in Fethard.

Crokes had a big number of athletes line out to run for the club which was fantastic to see.

Over a tough but very enjoyable course on the day, the athletes came away with winning numerous medals both individually and team prizes.

These athletes can now move towards the All Ireland Masters in a couple of weeks, along with Munster Indoors in Nenagh.

The club's juvenile athletes are aiming for County Indoors followed by Munster Indoors in Nenagh.

Training continues on Monday and Wednesday evening for aged seven years and up at 6:30pm, with adult sessions on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm.

Registration is now due for everyone for the 2025 season and all athletes must be registered before they can compete.

All are welcome, both new and returning members.
