Medicine shortages reaches new record high

Medicine should be organised in advance of the storm.

Across Ireland people are bracing themselves for Storm Éowyn which is set to hit land in the early hours of the morning and continue well into Friday afternoon.

Pharmacies across Tipperary have advised customers to call in today to ensure they are prepared for the storn in case they are unable to get out to get medicine over the coming days.

The possibility is that some services will be closed tomorrow which will mean that essential medicines and other necessities must be organised today instead of tomorrow.

O'Briens Pharmacy in Cahir have advised customers to plan ahead for the coming days and to ensure that preparations are made in advance of the storm.

"We would advise all our customers who require medication to please call instore and collect tomorrow Thursday 23rd before the warning comes into effect," they published online.
