All units of the Tipperary and Clare Crime Functional Area conducted a search under warrant in Maynooth, Co. Kildare as part of Operation Thor.
The units, supported by members from Leixlip Garda Station, the Armed Support Unit and other National Units seized a number of items during the searches including a high end value vehicle on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
A man in his thirties was arrested and conveyed to a Garda Station in Co. Tipperary.

He is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
The investigation is ongoing.
