The Council says it proposes to close the junction between the hours of 7pm and 5am on Thursday, April 10, and from Wednesday, April 16 to Friday, April 18.
The proposed alternative routes is to exit the M8 at Junction 6, Horse and Jockey, turn left in Horse and Jockey on the R639, follow the R639 through Littleton, Ballyshane and Urlingford, turn left onto the R693 after Urlingford and re-join the M8 at junction 4.
Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, county Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Thursday, March 13 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
