Tipperary-based company announces 20 new job openings across the county

Cllr John O'Heney has unveiled a major jobs announcement for the South Tipperary area, with Cashel based Company MYNET set to create a minimum of 20 new jobs in the region.

The Company currently employs 35 people of which 21 are based in Cashel.

MYNET also has a monitoring centre in South Africa which works in sync with their Irish operation.

Speaking on the announcement this evening MYNET CEO Jack Raeburn states "Due to increasing numbers of monitoring contracts being awarded to MYNET for large client portfolios, we are expanding the size of the monitoring facility in Cashel Town to add resources for growth. As a result, we have a number of new roles available in the business. We are hiring for the following: Monitoring Operators, Operations Managers, IT infrastructure engineers, administration staff – 20 additional new staff"

MYNET is an EN:50518:2019 Category 1 ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre), Providing specialist monitoring services for security systems such as CCTV, Alarms and Access Control.

The Company is among Ireland’s fastest growing ARC’s (Alarm Receiving Centre/Monitoring Centres).

They are an Independent ARC which makes them a large-scale disrupter to the Industry, as they only deal with third party installation companies and have an international service offering.

Cllr John O'Heney stated "this is a fantastic news for our local economy and it is very positive to see a Company such as MYNET invest heavily in its Tipperary operation. These jobs will be a welcome boost to the entire West and South Tipperary region. I was very happy to work with and support Jack and his fantastic team here in Tipperary throughout this job creation project"
