Road near Clonmel to close for nearly two months due to water mains project

Tipperary County Council has made an order to temporarily close the L-3280 at Clashaniska Upper near Clonmel for nearly two months to facilitate a water mains project. 

The Council will close the road from midnight on Wednesday, August 20 to midnight on Friday, October 10 to enable the installation of two new water main pipelines and the repurposing of an existing pipeline. 

Traffic will be diverted via the L-3279 and R688.
