The stolen property recovery day will take place in Littleton Community Centre
An Garda Síochána are hosting a stolen property recovery day at Littleton Community Centre in Littleton village on Thursday, August 28 at which stolen power and garden tools will be among the stolen items displayed in the hope of being re-united with their rightful owners.
Power tools like consaws, garden strimmers and hedge cutters are examples of the stolen property that will be on show awaiting identification by their original owner.
Garda Sergeant John McCormack said Gardaí believe property they will be displaying at the event was stolen in the greater county Tipperary area in 2024 and 2025.
"If you are a victim of crime come along to this event between 10am and 7pm," he urged.
Sgt. McCormack said it will be most helful if property owners can describe their stolen property or provide evidence to identify their stolen items.
