Pupils had the rare opportunity to meet the champions and capture photographs with the storied trophy.

For Morris and Morgan, the visit carried extra resonance. Returning to their alma mater, they presented the cup to the very place where it all began.

The day was made possible through the coordination of Gary O’Connor of Tipperary GAA, alongside Lenny Gaynor of Kilruane MacDonaghs GAA and Camogie Club, with Ardcroney Community Hall providing a gracious venue.

And for the children of Ardcroney NS, this is no ordinary visit. It is a clarion call to future hurling and camogie stars, who, one day, may lift the Liam MacCarthy Cup or the O’Duffy Cup themselves, draped in the blue and gold.
