Tipperary Christmas market returns this Sunday with festive stalls and Santa

The Aherlow Christmas Market is set to take place this Sunday December 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lisvernane Community Centre, offering a festive hub for locals preparing for the holiday season.

The event will feature 30 stalls showcasing everything from local arts and crafts to food products. John O’Gorman, one of the organisers, said the market has grown so popular that marquees have been erected to meet demand from those wishing to take part.

He added that the social element is a key part of the market, with a café set up to encourage visitors to meet friends and neighbours. Santa Claus is also expected to make an appearance on the day, adding to the festive atmosphere.
