The fixtures for the 2026 National Hurling and Football Leagues have been confirmed, setting out a demanding early season programme for Tipperary’s senior sides.
The county’s senior hurlers will open their campaign with a home tie against Galway on Saturday January 24th, with a 7pm throw in at FBD Semple Stadium. The opening fixture offers an immediate test against one of the division’s established contenders.

Tipperary will also welcome Limerick and Kilkenny to Thurles over the course of the league. Away assignments will take the team to Offaly, Cork and Waterford, providing a balanced schedule of home and travel fixtures across the spring.
In football, Tipperary’s senior side will begin their Division Four campaign on the road. Niall Fitzgerald’s team travel to Ruislip to face London on Sunday January 25th, with the match scheduled for 2pm.
Further away games await against Longford and Wicklow, while the footballers will enjoy four home fixtures at FBD Semple Stadium. Antrim, Carlow, Leitrim and Waterford are all due to visit Thurles as Tipperary seek to build momentum in the division.
