The couple were joined by family and close friends for a church ceremony before travelling to the Mount Wolseley Hotel Spa and Golf Resort in Carlow, where they celebrated the occasion.
Kirsten has since dropped a selection of new photographs from the special day on Instagram, giving followers a glimpse into the celebrations and moments shared with family and friends.
John and Kirsten have been together for several years, having met while studying in Limerick. Their wedding comes just weeks after John was named Hurler of the Year at the 2025 GAA All-Star Awards, capping off a standout year for the Tipperary man both on and off the field.
John proposed in 2024 at a location just outside Limerick, a place of particular significance to the couple as it marked the setting for one of their first dates.
Following the ceremony, guests travelled to Carlow where the newlyweds marked the occasion at the four-star resort, bringing a celebratory close to a memorable year in their personal and sporting lives.
