Kilcoran Lodge Hotel in Cahir to close temporarily from January

Kilcoran Lodge Hotel & Leisure Centre, a 25-bedroom hotel near Cahir, will temporarily close from Monday, 5th January.

Management said the closure is due to operational and financial reasons and is expected to be temporary.

During this period, all staff will be temporarily laid off, with the hotel aiming to reopen in early Spring 2026.

Kilcoran Lodge, located near the M8 on the old Dublin to Cork route, has served as both an accommodation and leisure destination for visitors to Cahir and surrounding areas.
