Michelle O’Leary, née Sheridan, of Lurgoe, Killenaule, Tipperary, and formerly of Hore Abbey, Cashel, Tipperary, has died unexpectedly at her home on Saturday 10th January 2026.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Kevin and Breda Sheridan and is mourned by her husband Joe, sons Kevin and Raymie and their partners Lucy and Liz, grandson Devon, sisters Mary and Caroline, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, work colleagues, neighbours, and many friends.
Funeral arrangements have been confirmed. Michelle will repose at Devitt’s Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5pm to 7.30pm, with removal to St John the Baptist Church, Cashel, on Friday morning at 11.15am.
A Requiem Mass will follow at 12 noon and can be viewed online at the Cashel Parish Stream. Cremation will take place at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, at 3pm. Condolences can be left via the funeral home’s website.
Messages of sympathy have poured in from friends and family. One tribute read: “Deepest sympathies to Joe, together with Kevin, Raymie, family and extended families on the sad passing of Michelle.”
Another message stated: “Words fail me in expressing my sincere sympathy to Caroline and all the family on the untimely death of dear Michelle. May she rest in eternal peace.”
Another added: “Deepest sympathy to Joe, Kevin, Raymie and the extended O’Leary and Sheridan families on the untimely passing of Michelle. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. May Michelle rest in eternal peace.”
Further messages acknowledged her warmth and kindness.
People also paid personal tribute, with one noting: “I am very sorry for your loss, Joe, Kevin, Raymie, Caroline, Mary, and Devon. To everyone who knew and loved the fantastic person Michelle was. She was a very special lady with a heart of gold. So cheerful and friendly. She will be hugely missed by so many. May she rest in peace with her loved ones gone before her.”
