Speaking after the gig, Maher said: “Words genuinely can’t explain what the last few nights have meant.
Hearing hundreds of people in Cashel roaring the songs back at us is something I don’t think I’ll ever get used to. A year ago I was just hoping people might connect with the music now we’re playing to theatres full of people singing every word.
“We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who’s supported us, bought a ticket, streamed a song, or shared a post. Nights like that remind you why you take the chance in the first place.
“Now we bring that same energy to Whelan’s, and we can’t wait to do it all over again.”
Maher followed up the Cashel concert with a second headline show at Whelan’s in Dublin on Sunday, bringing the weekend’s celebrations to a close with another well‑received performance.
