BREAKING: Search continues for missing Tipperary man (60's) in Borrisokane

A major search operation is underway in North Tipperary this afternoon following the disappearance of a man in Borrisokane on Monday evening.

The man, aged in his early 60's, was last seen at around 6pm on Monday evening, April 3 in the Borrisokane area.

Members of Nenagh Ormond Search Unit were deployed last night to help in the search party efforts for the missing man. Two teams from the unit searched throughout the night until 11am today. 

The Civil Defence and Gardaí, along with the Killaloe Coast Guard and Rescue helicopter 115 from Shannon are also assisting in the search.
