A National Lottery player in county Tipperary is Ireland’s newest millionaire following Friday night’s EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draw.

The special raffle event guarantees to make four brand new millionaires in Ireland over the month of August.

The winning quick pick ticket worth €1 million was won by a player in Tipperary who purchased their ticket online or through the National Lottery App.  
 
Typically, in every single EuroMillions draw, ten players in Ireland win €5,000 on the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’.

In Friday night’s draw, an additional €1 million was added to the special raffle draw and among those ten winners of €5,000, one of those winners won an additional €1 million. 
 
The ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ winning raffle code in Friday night’s EuroMillions draw, which is worth €1,005,000 million to one online player in Tipperary was:  I – NBX - 75295 
 
It was a big night for Irish winners in Friday night’s (12th August) EuroMillions draw which seen over 55,000 players win prizes.

Among those prize winners was another Dublin player who scooped the top prize of €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw. The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at the Tesco store in Liffey Valley in Clondalkin on the day of the draw. 
 
The winning numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw which are worth a cool €500,000 to one Dublin player are: 03, 10, 15, 34, 43. 
 
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “What a night it was for the Irish in Friday night’s EuroMillions draw.

"Somebody in county Tipperary could be waking up to the fact that they are Ireland’s latest EuroMillions millionaire.

"We are asking all our online players to check their National Lottery accounts and tickets very carefully today as they will have received a notification and an email to inform them of their prize.

"Additionally, we are also asking our Dublin players to check their tickets to see if they are the winners of the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize winner of last night’s draw. Both players in Tipperary and Dublin should contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prizes."
 
There was no winner of the €54,932,236 jackpot on offer, which now rolls to a massive €65 million next Tuesday 16th of August.
