People across Tipperary will go to the polls today to vote in the local elections for 2024.
Elections are set to be held in all local authorities in Ireland today, with polling stations opened from 7 am this morning and will remain open until 10 pm tonight.
Here, we take a look at the list of candidates standing in Tipperary.
Tipperary County Council is divided into eight areas - Cahir (4 seats), Carrick-on-Suir (5 seats), Cashel (7 seats), Clonmel (6 seats), Nenagh (5 seats), Newport (4 seats), Roscrea-Templemore (4 seats) and Thurles (5 seats).
