Dundrum Athletic Club’s Michael Moore and John Moore who competed in the Munster Masters Track and Field Men’s Over 60 3,000m in Nenagh on Monday, January 2
MORRISSEY WINS MUNSTER 3,000M - SENIOR AND MASTERS TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Munster Senior and Masters Track and Field Championships were held on January 2 in Nenagh Indoor Stadium.
Dundrum Athletic Club had three athletes competing in the first championship race for the club in 2023.
In the Senior Men’s 3,000 metres Eamonn Morrissey had a superb race to win in 9:27.67. He was well clear of second place, who was 22 seconds behind him.
In the Masters Over 60 Men’s race we had two competing. Both were just outside the medals, with fourth Michael Moore, 12:17.24 and fifth John Moore, 13:17:43.
