Category win for Tipperary athlete at ‘John Treacy 10 Miler’

The John Treacy Dungarvan 10 mile road race hosted by West Waterford Athletic Club took place on Sunday, February 5 with almost 3,000 finishers.

Well done to Carrick-on-Suir AC's Mags Power running a excellent race in 1:24:18 to win 1st place category prize, and also the following members for taking part and representing our club.

GOAL MILE RAISED €5,000

Carrick Road Runners annual GOAL Mile on Christmas Morning was a great success thanks to everybody that came along. The weather was good, and the atmosphere was lovely.

Thank you to our friends of Carrick Road Runners who come on board each year without fail to do our Street Collection. Thanks also to all who took time out to make the videos for us and to Ber and Mylo for the use of their shop window.

And last but not least huge thanks to Santa for taking time out of his busy schedule to be with us.
Our total raised this year from our Street Collection, GOAL MILE and Online Donations comes to €5,385.57 and our total to date to €87,430.27.

We hope the year will be good to ye and we hope to do it all again for Christmas 2023.
