The Source Library Thurles
The Planning Section of Tipperary County Council are publishing the Draft Thurles Local Area Plan 2024-2030, which includes a Draft Local Transport Plan for the town.
The Plan set out a land use strategy and investment objectives for the town to ensure a good quality of life for its community, support employment and homes, and do so sustainably and successfully.
The Draft Plan was published on Friday, July 28, and readers are invited to read and make submissions on the Draft Plan until Monday, September 11.
Copies of the plan are available at the Civic Offices in Clonmel and Nenagh, The Source library, as well as online on the Council’s consultation portal.
Planners and Active travel staff from the Council will be hosting a public information evening on Tuesday, August 29, in the The Source library .
They will be available to answer any questions you have on the Plan.
