Pictured at the blessing of the restored Archbishop Patrick Leahy statue in the yard of the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles before Christmas are Noel Ryan, Heritage Masonry; Fr. Jim Purcell, PP, Thurles Parish; Joe Bracken, Parish Pastoral Team; Tony O’Brien; Stephen Bourke, Sculptor; Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly, Archbishop of Cashel and Emly; P.J. Ryan, Ryan Construction Ltd.; Fr George Ranahan, Pallottine Fathers.
