Apostolic Work Society - The society would like to thank all who came to our display last weekend, also to all who gave cakes for the sale and the people who gave donations and supported the raffle. Raffle winners were, Rita Seymour, Brenda O’Connell, Peg McCarthy, Paul O’Connor, Nora Ryan, Ann Reddan, Mrs. O’Leary, Nancy Gleeson, and Paticia McLoughlin. All help much appreciated.

Tidy Towns - There was a very disappointing turn out for the clean up of the village last weekend. Litter can be picked up anytime. Please help make our village litter free, there will be another clean up shortly, details later.

Camogie - We are still looking for photos from early mid 80’s or paper cuttings of when Portroe won 3 in a row. Easter draw will take place in Seymour’s Lounge on Sunday night next, 24th April. Your support will be much appreciated.

Get Well - Get well wishes are extended to Pat Moloney, Ballycarrido who is in hospital, we wish him a quick recovery.

Sympathy - Deepest sympathy is extended to the Cottrell family, Ardara on the death of their sister Peg Crehan who died during the week. May her soul rest in peace.

Congratulations - Congratulations to Cormac Shouldice, Lisheen who celebrated his 21st birthday with family and friends in Roy and Denise Breen’s, Garrykennedy at the weekend. We wish him many more years of health and happiness.
