One of the many new pictures added to the Visual Emotion exhibition of John D Kelly pictures at the Tipperary Museum of Hidden History
As John D Kelly pictures clearly illustrate, emotion is at the heart of special Tipperary sporting moments.
This picture is just one of the many new images added to the Visual Emotion exhibition of John D Kelly's pictures at the Tipperary Museum of Hidden History.
Next Tuesday evening John will talk about the stories behind the pictures on display at the museum in Clonmel.
He will be joined by friends John Leahy, Tipperary hurling legend and Eamon Lacey of The Nationalist who John has worked with for the last 40 years.
The event will take place on Tuesday, December 10 at 7pm. Booking through eventbrite.
“Since John's hugely successful exhibition opened, so many people have met John in person and are blown away by his love of the people and normal activities in his compositions. events and his craft. I was stunned by the many stories behind each and every photograph taken. So, I wanted to invite John and a few friends to chat together and dig up some personal, classic, and sporting stories to share with our guests on the night. It should be a great evening of fun and chat, with a few prizes for some that have a lucky streak!” said Marie McMahon, manager of Tipperary County Council museum service.
