Moyne AC athlete Katie Bergin
Moyne Athletic Club stars were celebrating over Christmas as the Annual Canon Hayes Recreation Awards, now in its twenty fifth year, took place in Tipperary Town on Friday the 27th of December.
The Tipperary Women's Track and Field team were nominated for the team award after winning the National Inter County League Premier Division for the first time back in July.
Moyne AC had three athletes competing on the team -Emma Delaney was in the 400m and the 4x400m Relay. Kate Delaney took part in the 2k Steeplechase while Katie Bergin ran the 100m, 200m and 4x100m Relay.
The team was managed by Martin Flynn with selector and stats by Geraldine Hickey. Well done to all for this great achievement.
