Former Chairman of South Tipperary GAA Board has passed away

The late Joe Brennan, who died on Saturday

Joe Brennan, Breanormore, Nine-Mile-House, Carrick-On-Suir, who passed away on Saturday, was a former Chairman of the South Tipperary GAA Board.

He was also a former member of Tipperary County Council, having served one term for the Fethard Electoral Area following his election in 2009.

Mr Brennan died peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St James' Hospital in Dublin, surrounded by his loving family.

He was predeceased by his parents Kathleen and Denis.

He is survived by his wife Eadaoin, cherished children Eimear and Tiarnach, sisters Martina (Clancy), Noreen (Connolly), Denise (Hallinan) and Samantha, adored aunt Mary, stepmother Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, parents-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends and neighbours, to whom sincere sympathy is extended.

He will be reposing in Brett's Funeral Home, Mullinahone (E41EV78) on this Tuesday, April 15 from 4pm - 8pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 16 at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Grangemockler, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

May he rest in peace.
