The final score read 0-15 to 0-14 to the Déise. However, a huge decision went against Tipperary in the second half when a clear goal scored by Karen Kennedy wasn't awarded by officials.
In the aftermath of the game, a video emerged on social media that clearly shows the ball hit the back stanchion of the net and bounce back out, but the umpires and referee failed to see it, and the game was played on to the fury of the Tipperary players and supporters.
