There was a rare family trio on duty at Tuesday evening’s Crosco Cup Final in Dundrum, as the Butler brothers took up the officiating roles for the decider.

Aidan Butler (Knockavilla Kickhams) was the man in the middle, with Ger (Moyle Rovers) and John (Upperchurch Drombane) running the lines.

While it’s not uncommon to see siblings involved in GAA, having three brothers officiate the same final is a notable first for many local supporters.

The match itself was competitive, with Golden Kilfeacle running out winners against Éire Óg Annacarty.
