The fourth annual walk to celebrate Slievenamon’s iconic place in the country’s history will depart from Kilcash village and will be completed before the All-Ireland Hurling final between Tipperary and Cork.

Slievenamon Day hike participants will be treated to refreshments in Kehoe’s Pub in Kilcash at the end of the hike where the All-Ireland final will be shown.

The climb of the mountain is being organised by Kilcash Slievenamon 1848 Commemoration Committee and Lingaun Valley Tourism Group with support from the council.
