Tipperary GAA has announced the passing of Paul McCarthy of Cappawhite, a former junior hurler who represented the county in 1958.

McCarthy lined out for Tipperary in matches against Clare and Cork during the 1958 campaign, proudly wearing the blue and gold at junior level. A dedicated member of his local GAA community, he was remembered with great fondness by all who knew him.
Tipperary GAA extended its deepest sympathies to Paul’s wife Teresa, his son Dermot, daughters Betty and Maria, and the wider McCarthy family.
