The draw for the FBD Insurance County Hurling Championships took place in Lar Na Pairce tonight with some intriguing preliminary quarter-finals being drawn from the hat.

In the senior grade, Toomevara have been drawn to face JK Brackens, while Drom & Inch will face off against West champions Clonoulty Rossmore.
Lastly, the tie of the draw will see North rivals Kiladangan and Kilruane MacDonaghs renew acquaintances in the last game of the round.
In the Premier Intermediate grade, North champions Ballina will take on Thurles Sarsfields' second team, while West champions Éire Óg Annacarty will face the Intermediate county champions from 2024, Moneygall.
Finally, the only preliminary game in the Intermediate grade will see North champions Shannon Rovers take on Arravale Rovers.
All winners will qualify for the quarter-finals proper. The participation of Clonoulty Rossmore in the preliminary quarter-finals means the draw for the relegation fare in the senior championship will be delayed until they are eliminated.
Elsewhere, the relegation semi-finals for the Premier Intermediate and Intermediate grades will also take place in the coming weeks, and the draw for these games also took place.
