Tipperary Camogie have confirmed the appointment of James Heffernan as the new Tipperary Senior Camogie Manager.

The announcement was ratified at this evening’s County Board meeting, with Heffernan taking charge on a two-year term that will see him lead the Premier County into the 2026 season and beyond.

Heffernan guided his home club Clonoulty Rossmore to a historic first-ever Tipperary Senior Camogie Championship title in 2024, earning widespread praise for his leadership and tactical approach in the defeat of Thurles Sarsfields.

A well-respected figure in Tipperary GAA circles, Heffernan brings a wealth of coaching and managerial experience to the county setup. He and his management team will now turn their focus to preparations for the 2026 campaign.
