Tipperary GAA legend Brendan Maher and his wife Aoife Hannon, the former Miss Ireland, have announced the arrival of their second child.

The couple shared the joyful news a year after welcoming their son Hugo, who is now settling into his new role as big brother. Aoife confirmed this week that she had given birth to a beautiful baby girl.
Posting on Instagram, the now mum of two shared the first photographs of the newest member of the Maher family and revealed her daughter’s name.
The caption read: "Amelia Mae Maher".
Messages of congratulations quickly followed as friends, family and supporters sent their well wishes to the popular couple.
