Tipperary Tourism has been given €29,766 to develop camper sites around the county to help develop more holiday destinations within the county.

The tourism sector performed strongly in 2025. The Tipperary County Council released its “State of the Season Report,” providing updated tourism trends from January to September 2025 compared to the previous year.

Some of the noticeable caravan park sites within the county include Ballincourty House Caravan and Camping Park, Powers The Pot Caravan and Camping Park, Streamstown Caravan and Camping Park, The Apple Caravan and Camping Park, Parsons Green Caravan and Camping Park, and Glen of Aherlow Caravan and Camping Park.

The news was welcomed at the first council meeting of the year, with Councillor Richie Molloy suggesting that public toilets should be a priority for site development.
