The Tipperary senior hurling team to face Limerick in the third round of the Allianz National Hurling League on Saturday in FBD Semple Stadium has been announced.
Without the distraction of Fitzgibbon Cup hurling, manager Liam Cahill has named a strong Premier outfit with a total of 6 changes being made from the side that lost out to Cork a fortnight ago in SuperValu Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
Noel McGrath returns to make his first competitive start of 2026, as does Moneygall's Sean Kenneally. There are also starts for Eoghan Connolly, Joe Caesar, Barry Hogan, and Darragh McCarthy.
Noteworthy also is the return of team captain Ronan Maher, who takes his place on the bench for this game alongside Hurler of the Year John McGrath.
