2. Robert Doyle Rating: 6/10 Doyle had early struggles on Dessie Hutchinson in the first half with five points being clipped by the Ballygunner ace. Doyle clamped down on him seriously in the second half.

6. Ronan Maher Rating: 6/10 A steady return to the fold by the captain. Had a ding-dong battle with Sean Walsh in what was an interest contest.

21. Michael Breen Rating: 6/10 Returning also was Michael Breen. Steady out as always and looked physical fit and doesn't look like he's missed a beat after his injury.

5. Eoghan Connolly Rating: 7/10 One of the few that managed to get good go-forward ball in the first half against the wind, he was very prominent in general play. Some of his long range freetaking was patchy by his usual standards, but overall, did well.
